It's just too bad that I'm not one of those lucky seven. I've been betting for the past weeks because I know how I'd spend the money.
Here's a list of what I'm planning to do should I win P180M:
- Pay Jessica Zafra to write an Eraserheads Biography (I hope she agrees to P2.0 M).
- Get the rights to create an OAV of The Mythology Class by Arnold Arre.
- Open a small bookshop (somewhere in Rockwell) that serves excellent coffee. That area is oh-so-nice.
- Buy a Cafe Breton or Yellow Cab Franchise.
- Donate to improve the National Archives.
- Sponsor Filipino students who can translate old Spanish documents that can be useful to future scholarly work.
- Sponsor upcoming Filipino comicbook artist to publish his or her work.
- Buy a condominium in Makati.
- Produce a movie set during the Filipino-American War (probably about Artemio Ricarte; F. Sionil Jose's Vibora is a good title)
- Buy a resthouse in Palawan.
- Get a Mini Cooper.
- Go to Germany for Oktoberfest.
That's my list so far. It's random. Oh yeah, there's always the obligatory painom.

I like the #6 - aside from sponsoring Filipinos, we should educate them to speak & write in Spanish, learning a new language is never a bad idea, also the Nat'l Archives suggestion, its about time!
