# 117 BEATLES FOREVER

This is the first Beatles' album that I've ever listened to. It's 20 tracks of ballads and all of them are great. My favorites would be Something, Norwegian Wood, Do You Want To Know A Secret, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away, Across The Universe, and She's Leaving Home.

This album made a huge impact to my life because it introduced me to The Beatles. Years later, I bought two albums that expanded my Beatlemania and it's just last year that an officemate helped me complete my index. I just love listening lately to their other songs like Tomorrow Never Knows, Happiness Is a Warm Gun and Because.

It's hard to pick which would be my favorite Beatle because each one has something distinct. At first, I liked John Lennon then Paul McCartney then I was beginning to see myself as George Harrison then as Ringo Starr.

Here's a sample of how they were in a press conference (from The Rough Guide to THE BEATLES by Chris Ingham):
Press: "How does it feel to be putting on the whole world?
Ringo: "We enjoy it."
Paul: "We aren't really putting you on."
George: "Well, just a bit."
John: "How does it feel to be put on?"

I remember my first Beatle albums, they were in cassettes, good looking- fat plastic casing, bought from Saudi by my OCW Tatay.

My favorite beatle song is "Girl", with its unmistakable pot hissing sound in the chorus [shhhhhhhhh...hehhe] My favorite beatle is silent George, too bad his dead...

i love that song too! that hissing sounds more like john getting so eager to get a hold of the girl (gigil kumbaga).

there's also a part of the chorus where they were singing "tits-tits-tits..." :D

of course, they did that intentionally.
